The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at the Sunoco, 671 Harbor Boulevard in Destin Sunday evening (October 26th).
The attendant says a black male wearing a black mask, blue jeans, a gray sweater, and blue baseball cap came in around 9:30 p.m. He threatened her and demanded money before leaving, heading out the east side door. A witness says he saw the individual jump a fence on Lola Circle.

Investigators with the Walton County Sheriff`s Office are seeking information reference an animal abuse investigation in which two Dachsunds were poisoned. Hans and Hobe were let out in their fenced backyard located on Walton Gulfview Drive about 8:30AM on 09/20/2014. The dogs` owner noticed they were eating something strange and took them to the vet where it was determined that they had been poisoned. Both dogs are expected to survive but are still undergoing treatment. The first incident occurred at approximately 3:15 PM when the below pictured white male entered the Thumbs Up Food Store located at 191 NE Eglin Parkway and reached across the counter and grabbed money from the register when the clerk opened it. Less than an hour later, a similar incident occurred at the Shell Station at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Beal Parkway with a similar suspect description. Sheriff's Office Investigating Two FWB Armed Robberies

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two armed robberies Sunday evening (February 16th) that could be the work of the same two individuals.
The first took place around 9:20 p.m. as a pizza delivery person for Hungry Howie’s attempted to deliver food at a home on Placid Drive. He says a black male holding a rifle came at him from a wooded area across the street, accompanied by a white male with a knife.
The black male grabbed the pizza bag and took his cash. The victim says both appeared to be between 18 and 25 years of age.
Within thirty minutes from that report, the OCSO learned a black male armed with a rifle and a white male robbed the Subway restaurant at 231 Racetrack Road. Both were wearing black ski masks.
The clerk says the black male pointed the rifle at him and demanded money, then took some cash and they both left.
He says the man was wearing a black long sleeved shirt or jacket and black jeans. He also described the white male as wearing a grey bomber style jacket with black fabric on the shoulders and black jeans, along with white Nike tennis shoes with a black "swoosh" on them.

Theives Target Expensive Purses at Destin Store

The Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office is investigating a break-in at a Destin store early Sunday morning (01/26/2014) which resulted in up to $75,000 in stolen merchandise.
An alarm went off around 5:40 a.m. at LuxExchange, located at 36150 Emerald Coast Parkway, Suite 103. A responding deputy found someone had forced their way in through the front main door and also ransacked an office inside. The owner estimated an initial loss of one-hundred purses and a $25,000 set of Louis Vuitton luggage.

Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers and the Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office are asking for information in a Destin robbery investigation. A Destin convenience store was robbed early this morning (01/22/2014) by a man who flashed a knife at the clerk before taking cash.
Deputies were called to the Circle K at 701 Harbor Boulevard shortly before one a.m.
The clerk says a black man wearing a black baseball cap and a purple sweatshirt came in with a black knife, pointed it at him, and demanded money. The robber left the store heading west on foot.

Info Sought in Destin Armed Burglary

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is working to track down a man who attempted to burglarize a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Destin and then pulled a gun on a witness.
On December 16 at approximately 5:45 p.m. a white male was seen attempting to gain entry into a room by using a screwdriver to pry open the door. When the man was confronted he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the witness. He then fled in a silver or gold four-door sedan, possibly a Buick or Ford Taurus, keeping the gun pointed at the witness the entire time.
The suspect is described as a white male between 45-59 years old with a medium build, approximately 6’ tall, and was wearing a green jacket, a dark colored hat and what appeared to be prescription glasses.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is working to track down a man who attempted to rob the Big Boss Convenience Store located at 34884 Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 4:10 p.m. a man approached the counter and demanded money at knifepoint. The clerk attempted to reason with the suspect and the man left the store without any money.
The robber is described as a white male in his mid twenties, approximately 6’ tall, 210 pounds and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, red and blue shoes, and had a dark blue bandana covering part of his face. The victim stated the suspect’s clothes appeared worn and dirty.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery and shooting that took place near a Lovejoy Road business in the Fort Walton Beach area Tuesday night, (October 22nd).
27-year old Levi Jernigan says he was entering his business, American Wholesale, at 515 Lovejoy Road around 10:30 Tuesday night when he was approached by two black males wearing dark clothing and masks.
Jernigan says one of the men pulled out a handgun and demanded his backpack. Jernigan however began to step back and run away when he was shot in the back. The robbers took Jernigan’s backpack and fled. Jernigan flagged down a motorist on Lovejoy Road and asked to be taken to the hospital. The driver was en route when he spotted two Fort Walton Beach Police officers at the nearby Chevron station and stopped for help. Jernigan was later taken by medical helicopter to a Pensacola hospital where at last report he was doing well.
A search of the surrounding area did not turn up any immediate suspects.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is working to track down a man who robbed the Waffle House located at 2060 W. Highway 98 in Mary Esther shortly after midnight this morning.
Three employees and one customer were in the business when a white male wearing a “worn” looking blue or grey hoodie and jeans approached the cash register and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The suspect then fled east behind the building with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber is described as a white male between 5’10”-6’ tall, 180-200 pounds with a chubby face and dark hair and dark facial hair.

Attempt to Identify FWB Robbery Suspect

Investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office believe two late night robberies may have been the work of the same individual Monday.
The first robbery attempt took place around 10:30 p.m. at Alvin’s Island on Okaloosa Island. A man walked up to an employee and demanded cash from the register. She was unable to open the register and he left empty-handed.
While deputies were on the scene investigating that attempted robbery, a call came in of a second one at eleven p.m. at the Waffle House on Racetrack Road.
The suspect came in and handed a worker a note demanding money. He then took cash and left. The descriptions of the suspect and his clothing matched in both incidents; a white male wearing a white shirt, white shorts, and white hat with a towel around his shoulders.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information about a burglary that occurred at the Health Smart Pharmacy located at 5809 N. Highway 189 in Baker. Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on the morning of July 25th, two unknown male suspects gained entry by throwing a piece of concrete through the glass front door. They then forced entry into the pharmacy section and stole various prescription medications and other items.
One of the suspects was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the word “Adidas” on the front in white letters, grey shorts, grey and black gloves, and black and teal colored tennis shoes. He had the hood of the shirt pulled over his head and a white piece of cloth under the hood. The second suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and also had the hood pulled over his head. Over the hood, he had a navy blue toboggan over his head and face. He was wearing dark blue jeans with a white design sewn on the right rear pocket and black and white tennis shoes. Suspects’ race is unknown.

The Fort Walton Beach Police is investigating a shooting that left one dead and one injured on June 27, 2013. At approximately 3:15 p.m. officers responded to a shooting incident that occurred at Spanish Villa Condominiums, located on Marshall Drive. While responding to the call for service, a second call came in to the Police Department regarding injured persons in a vehicle near the intersection of West Audrey Drive and Sullivan Street. Responding officers determined the incidents were related and provided assistance to two subjects in the vehicle until medical personnel could arrive. One victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital and the other victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who robbed the Dollar General at 2080 West Highway 98 in Mary Esther at gunpoint around 9:30 last night.
Two employees and a shopper were inside when the robbers instructed one of the employees to open the store safe and give them any cash. All three of the individuals were tied up but were able to get free after the pair left the store. One of the witnesses said she heard a loud, diesel type of engine outside the store at the time of their departure.

The suspects are described as black males who were wearing hoodies and had their lower faces covered. They were last seen running on the north side of the apartment complex.

Crestview Police Investigating Taco Bell Robbery

The City of Crestview Police Department is currently investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred at Taco Bell located at 2549 South Ferdon Boulevard, at 1:30 a.m. early Saturday morning (February 2nd, 2012).
Employees advised that a black female and a black male entered into the business armed with firearms, and demanded money and the employee’s cellular phones. The suspects then fled the business on foot in an unknown direction of travel, with an undetermined amount of money.
One of the suspects has been described as a black male approximately 6 foot tall, wearing a pair of gloves, a grey hooded jacket, blue shirt, and a blue bandanna concealing his face.
The second suspect was described as a black female, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, wearing all black clothing, gloves, with a white undershirt. She was also wearing sunglasses and concealing her face with a blue bandanna.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money headed west through the parking lot towards Liza Jackson Park. The white male suspect was described as being around thirty years old, 6` tall with short brown hair and facial stubble and was wearing blue jeand and a grey t-shirt.
