12/8/2016 - Additional $5,000 Reward Offered for Arrest in Beach Umbrella Theft (06/19/2016)

In addition to a reward being offered by Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, and additional $5,000 reward is being offered by the East Pass Investors through Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) who stole nearly $10,000 dollars` worth of beach umbrellas from beach boxes located near O’Steen Beach Access off Gulf Shore Drive in Destin on the night of 06/19/2016 and threw a portion of them in...to a nearby pond.
An employee of the Emerald Grande says he arrived at work around 8:15 Monday morning (06/20/2016) and noticed some of the beach boxes open. He spotted ten umbrellas in the water and says another approximately eighty umbrellas were missing.
The beach boxes are about 100 yards from the East Pass shoreline. The stolen umbrellas have seven foot wooden poles and a six foot in diameter blue canvas with “Emerald Grande” printed on them.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies found four of them in a nearby pond and one in the pond’s weeds. Another five were found in sand dunes near the west end of the pond.

11/25/2016 - WCSO Attempting to Identify Pair Using Stolen Gift Card

The Walton County Sheriff`s Office needs help identifying this pair that used a gift card that was stolen during a vehicle burglary on Montgomery Street in Santa Rosa Beach on 11/25/2016. The victim advised several items, along with a Walmart gift card, had been removed from the vehicle. The following day, the gift card was used at Walmart in Callaway Florida. The video shows the pictured male and female making a purchase using the gift card. The male subject is described as a heavy set white male with glasses, dark or brown hair, and a beard. The female subject is described as a white female, with dark or brown hair. 10/27/2016 - OCSO Investigating Mary Esther Bank Robbery

Recognize this Bank Robber?
Surveillance cameras captured video of the suspect in the October 27, 2016 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, 101 Mary Esther Boulevard.
Investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office say the tall, skinny black male came into the bank around 1 p.m., passed the teller a threatening note, and then left with cash. Witnesses saw the man drive off in a sedan. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans, sunglasses, and a Michael Jordan black hat
with a red brim. The teller says his long dreadlocks appeared to be fake.
OCSO Investigators are working with their counterparts at other agencies to determine if the same individual could be involved in recent bank robberies in Northwest Florida, including the September 19th hold-up of the Hancock Bank in Destin.

10/10/2016 - Investigators Trying to Identify McDonald`s Burglar

At approximately 3:30 AM on 10/10/2016, the below pictured black male burglarized the McDonald’s located at 1083 North Beal Parkway in Fort Walton Beach. He was wearing a green striped shirt, black and red basketball shorts and black and red shoes. 9/19/2016 - OCSO Investigating Destin Bank Robbery

The Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office is investigating a bank robbery that took place around 10:30 AM this morning at the Hancock Bank located at 14075 Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin.

Investigators say a black male, approximately 5’6” tall, with a thin build and dreadlocks came into the bank and jumped over the teller counter. He demanded money from the teller and attempted to gain access to the teller drawer but left the bank on foot empty handed. No weapon was seen.

Deputies located the suspect’s FSU hat a short distance from the bank but he may have also been wearing a second hat with fake dreadlocks attached.

A K9 attempted to track the suspect but was unable to locate him.

8/27/2016 - OCSO Attempting to Identify Purse Snatcher

The Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office is investigating a purse snatching that occurred behind the Emerald Grande in Destin last night. The victim was sitting on a bench near the harbor around 11:00 PM when a black male forcefully took her purse and fled into the parking garage.
The suspect is described as a black male with dreadlcoks and was wearing a red shirt, shorts and black tennis shoes.

8/24/2016 - OCSO Investigating Robbery by Sudden Snatching
The Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office is asking for information in a robbery by snatching that occurred in the WalMart parking lot in Fort Walton Beach yesterday (08/24/2016) around 10:00 AM. According to the 91 year old victim, he was checking in his trunk when a black male grabbed his wallet from his pocket and ran south across the Sam`s Club parking lot towards Bayou View and Lincoln Drive.

The Walton County Sheriff`s Office is trying to identify this woman reference a grand theft that occurred at the Dollar General on Hwy 90 in Defuniak Springs on 08/24/2016. She is described as a white female, approximately 20-25 years old, brown hair, around 5`4" with tattoos on her shoulder and ankle. She was wearing a leopard print blouse and shorts. She left in a white Chevrolet Suburban or a GMC Yukon.

8/17/2016 - WCSO Searching for Stolen Air Compressor

The Walton County Sheriff`s Office is attempting to locate an air compressor that was stolen sometime between 8:00PM on 08/17/2016 and 7:00AM on 08/18/2016. The air compressor belongs to Southern Light and was located at the intersection of 83 North and Highway 2 West. It is a 2016 Doosan HP450 Air Compressor/Trailer valued at $50,000. The picture below is not of the actual air compressor stolen but it is the exact color, make and model.

8/2/2016 - OCSO Searching for Missing Destin ManSOLVED

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious disappearance of a Hispanic man from a Destin apartment complex.

The OCSO responded to Legion Village Apartments at 734 Legion Drive on August 2nd after 36-year old Osvaldo Torres-Michua failed to show up at work.

The investigation into the disappearance has led OCSO personnel, along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Bay County Sheriff’s Office, and other law enforcement agencies to search various locations in south Walton County.

7/27/2016 - Crestview PD Attempting to Identify Sexual Battery SuspectSOLVED

The Crestview Police Department is trying to identify the man and vehicle in these photos reference the sexual battery of a juvenile that occurred during the early morning hours of 07/27/2016.
The vehicle is described as a Dark Maroon, 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu or Impala, with aftermarket spoke type rims. Vehicle could possibly have Florida or Alabama tag.
The suspect is describes as a tall, stocky built, African American male, with shoulder length dreadlocks, and appears to be wearing a do-rag over his hair.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff`s Office is trying to identify these individuals reference "smash and grab" vehicle burglaries that occurred at the Morgan Sports Complex on Commons Drive in Destin on 07/18/2016. One of the victim’s identification was used to cash a check in Ponce Inlet, Florida and Dothan, Alabama by the two Hispanic females pictured below. They were driving a silver Chevrolet Impala.

6/17/2016 - WCSO Investigating Reported Sexual Battery

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a Sexual Battery that occurred on 06/17/2016 between 12:15 and 3:30 AM. The incident occurred at the beach access at 8266 E County Hwy 30A (Sea Breeze Neighborhood). The victim advised she left her residence walking when a male subject pulled up next to her in a van labeled taxi and offered her a ride. She rode with him to Pier Park to pick up some subjects. Once he dropped them off at their destination, they retu...rned to Walton County and went to the beach access where the incident occurred.

SUSPECT INFORMATION:

-W/M
-Approx. 35yo
-Approx. 6’00
-Stocky Build with a “Beer Belly”
-Short buzz cut, blondish hair, clean shaven
-Has a “Country Accent”
-Wearing tan cargo shorts, button up short sleeve shirt and slide type shoes
-Driving a dark blue minivan with an illuminated “Taxi” sign
-Wearing a name tag with “Justyn”
